LLLA’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Annalise Povolo, a Lake Leelanau native and graduate of Leland High School, to the newly created role of Director of Administration and Programs. Annalise is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment (SNRE), and recently completed her Master’s degree in Aquatic Ecology at the University of Bremen in Germany. Annalise led LLLA’s EWM dive team in 2020-21, which she will continue to do in her new role, in addition to taking on responsibilities in the areas of community engagement, fundraising, education, communication, volunteer coordination, and general administration.
