Our Mission
The Lake Leelanau Lake Association is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality and beauty of Lake Leelanau and its surrounding watershed for current and future generations.
We remain deeply committed to protecting the lake from invasive species, preserving water quality, and safeguarding shoreline habitat. All of our programs help ensure that everyone can enjoy the lake’s beauty and health. Moreover, these efforts play a critical role in maintaining homeowners’ property values.

We have expanded our programs to protect the lake to include four staffed boat wash stations, invasive Phragmites and purple loosestrife control, closer monitoring of our water quality, and a number of educational programs.
